Barbeque (BBQ):

Really can’t go wrong with any BBQ spot in KC, but here are a few of our favorites:

Q39 : Our favorite burnt ends in town. A must try! q39kc.com/

Arthur Bryant’s: Oldest and most famous BBQ spot in town. Close to the historic 18th and Vine district including the famous American Jazz Museum. This is a Tyler facorite! www.arthurbryantsbbq.com/

Char Bar: Westport is one of the best neighborhoods for bar-hopping in Kansas City, and Char Bar is a great place to kick off the night if you’re with a group. If the weather is nice, plenty of yard games on their patio to enjoy while you wait for your food. Try their daily specials, they will leave you wanting more!

Brunch:

Classic Cup Cafe: A staple in Country Club Plaza. Known for great views and delectable brunch. Mimosas aren’t a bad choice either. theclassiccupcafe.com/

Billies Grocery: This is not your typical greasy spoon brunch spot. A healthier option offering breakfast cocktails and mocktails. The carnitas burrito is life changing. (Multiple Kelce sightings). www.billiesgrocery.com/

French Provence: Feeling French? This is a great place to try out! cafeprovencekc.com/

Snooze, an AM Eatery: Known for the signature pancake flight and their habanero pork belly benny. Get a reservation as this place fills up quick. www.snoozeeatery.com/

Coffee Shops:

Serendipity Vinyard (and coffee!) : Friday morning and you need coffee but you kind of you want to celebrate a little early with wine? How about both! Head South to this very Sophie themed coffee/wine spot for flights of wine as well as a delicious latte! www.serendipityfarmandvine.com/

Pilgrim Coffee - A great cup of coffee you surely will not forget. pilgrimcoffeecompany.com/

Bruu Cafe - Convenient to hotels near 119th, this stop has some great tea options as well as amazing lattes!

Scooters Coffee - No need for a website for this one! This chain puts Starbucks to shame! With multiple locations, enjoy a tasty breakfast treat as well as a cup of coffee to go in this convenient drive through. Just Scoot on by!

Night time:

Rock and Brews: Convenient to hotel areas, Rock and Brews is located in the Prairie Fire area and has great salads as well as burgers! Swing by Chicken and Pickle after for a fierce round of Pickle Ball! www.rockandbrews.com/overland-park

Fox and Pearl: French cuisine with a traditional, regionally inspired comfort food mix. Sneak downstairs (take the spiral staircase) after dinner to the speakeasy for a craft cocktail with a cozy 1920s vibe. www.foxandpearlkc.com/

Sword Fish Tom’s: Intimate hideaway speakeasy serving refined craft cocktails in a sophisticated, vintage-inspired setting. This is Sophie and Tyler favorite and a highly recommend for anyone looking for an unforgettable experience/cocktail! Bring cash!

Cooper’s Hawk: Wine tasting is always fun and their brussel sprouts are to die for. chwinery.com/locations/kansas-city
